William Cooper bio Time line

1861 -  born in Yorta Yorta territory
1933  -  he left his beloved home to go to Melbourne
1934  -  became the nucleus for the Australian Aborigines' League
1938  -  planned with Bill Ferguson a 'Day of Mourning' so that Aboriginal people could draw attention to the destructive effects of the invasion
1941  -  passed away

Fred Hollows Bio Time line

1929  -  was born in New Zealand

1960  -  got a job in Australia

1965  -  was head of the Eye Department at a Sydney hospital

1970  -  helped launch a national program to attack eye disease in Aboriginal Australians1980  -  was travelling all over the world to help set up eye health programs in developing countries

1989  -  know he wouldn't live to see all his ideas happen

1993  -  died at home

Nelson Mandela Bio Time line

1918   -  born near Umtata in South Africa
1952   -  opened the first Black Law firm in South Africa
1944   -  helped found the ANC Youth League
1962   -  had been arrested
1990   -  had been released
1994   -  had been inaugurated as the first democratically elected State President of South Africa
1993   -  awarded the Nobel Peace Prizejointly 
2013   -  passed away
